Our Yum Ceramic formula is proudly our flagship product of the range with a trademark behind the name due to the extensive formulation work and time that has gone into this product. Yum Ceramic is what we believe to be the next evolution of spray sealants. Our formula is safe to use on paintwork, glass, chrome and trim including alloy wheels. For proper preparation, we recommend a minimum of chemical and mechanical decontamination. Ideally, the best application would require a naked, fully polished surface to allow for the best adhesion.

Ceramic spray sealant
The word ‘ceramic’ indicates the formula has been blended with active ceramic resins and polymers delivered on a water-based solution, allowing you full control of how the product reacts with the paintwork.
The water-based delivery system also allows for it to be diluted to a 1:1 ratio, for a lot more frequent use, such as a protective drying aid application.
Yum Ceramic can also be used as a topper if you already have a ceramic coating, wax or sealant layers, as this will sit beautifully on top of the existing protection.
For the best application method, we always recommend a 2-towel method, 1 towel to spread the product and 2 towels to remove the residue. You can also apply it after your final rinse of your car by misting the 1:1 diluted product over the wet vehicle and continuing to dry with our Drying Aid cloths.
Frequently Asked Questions
In what order should I apply protection products?
You should always apply the most durable, protective product first when starting a new detail. So, in the order of our protective products, you would apply Yum Ceramic, followed by Yum Wax and then Yum Detailer.
How long should I wait before applying Yum Wax over Yum Ceramic?
We recommend applying Yum Wax 12 hours after applying Yum Ceramic for the best results, if possible.
Do I need to apply Yum Ceramic after every wash?
No. On subsequent maintenance washes, you can just use Yum Detailer after the wash as a drying aid. Yum Ceramic offers longer-lasting protection so there’s no need to apply this every time. Applying Yum Ceramic or even Yum Wax after every wash is not damaging, but it is not necessarily needed. You can usually tell when it’s due to be topped up again as the protective properties fade.
How long does Yum Ceramic last?
On a perfectly prepared vehicle, it has a durability of 6+ months. By combining this with Yum Detailer as a drying aid on future maintenance washes, you have a combination that is impossible to beat!
I don’t have a ceramic coated vehicle, so Yum Ceramic is useless to me.
Yum Ceramic creates a super slick layer of paint protection that can be used as a standalone sealant or as a top-up and extension of your existing ceramic protection. Yum Ceramic is perfectly safe to use on a ceramic coated and non-coated vehicle.
