Quick detailer spray

So, what is our vision for a detail spray? We believe a detail spray should not leave protection behind. This opens up a whole new world for you when touching up, without having to polish away any residual protective properties.

A detail spray should have extreme gloss and slickness, as this is the final product that touches a car, to create a surface that resists anything that wants to adhere to it, and this is what we call 'slick paint'. The slick paint creates a surface where dirt has difficulty adhering, making it easier to deal with in future washes.

We recommend using Yum Detailer after every wash, unless you plan to top up your protection with a dedicated protective product. Applying it to all glass after washing gives an incredible result!

Yum Detailer can be used on the entire exterior, including glass, wheels, and door jambs, either as a drying aid, or, in the traditional 2-towel method with dry paint. It is very simple to use – spray and wipe.

Drying aid

Yum Detailer truly shines during the wet application phases as a drying aid. The term 'drying aid' is a relatively new concept in the car care industry – this is where you add an extra step before drying the vehicle. Normally, you might just use a drying towel over the entire vehicle after washing and then it's done. The extra step before this is to spray a drying agent onto the vehicle, while it is wet, before any towel contact is made. This adds a microscopic level of slickness to the panels as you use your drying towel. This, in turn, will drastically reduce damage, remove standing water faster, and leave a truly impeccable finish.

Drying aid application

1. After the final rinse phase, blow air over the entire vehicle to remove most of the standing water (we prefer a cordless blower for this method).
2. Spray Yum Detailer over the vehicle, panel by panel, and wipe it off with our special drying aid towels.
3. We recommend 2 x drying aid towels for this process, as the second towel is used as a final wipe at the end to catch any remaining water droplets.
