In addition to snow foam shampoo, pre-cleaners are another product category for pre-washing your car. Pre-cleaners are usually higher in pH and therefore often clean more aggressively than a snow foam product. It is therefore possible that an existing protective layer, such as a wax or sealant, may be affected by a car pre-cleaner.
